Create Developer ID Certificate - Apple
This
tutorial will very helpful for beginner who has started developing
application and want to test it in device. Here i have shown some step
to create Developer certificate in Apple developer member center. The Second tutorial of Creating App ID and last tutorial Provisional Profile.
Note : Apple membership id is required.
Step 1 : Go to Apple Developer site
Step 2 : Provide apple developer credential.
Step 3 : Click "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles"
Step 4 : Select "All" or "Development" from Left panel. Then click "+" button from Top right to create new one.
Step 5 : Now select "iOS App Development" from the Development section. Here two sections
1. Development
2. Production
Development useful to test and debug apps with xCode while Production useful to produce build for Test Flight or app store.
Step 6 : Scroll down and press continue.
Step 7 : Now you will see one screen that is about to CSR. There is steps described how to create .certSigningRequest file. BUT WE WILL PROVIDE SCREEN BASED STEPS.
Step 8 : Search keychain access app in spotlight
Step 9 : GoTo Keychain Access > Certificate Assistant > Request a Certificate From a Certificate Authority...
Step 10 : One Wizard will open and request something that is about your details.
Your email address, Name and how you would like to get .certSigningRequest file via Email or want to save it on disk.
Step 11 : Save it on a preferred location.
Step 12 : Close the wizard.
Step 13 : Now time to head back to Apple development centre. Click to choose file.
Step 14 : Select file from saved location.
Step 15 : Then "Continue" for further process.
Step 16 : COOL Your certificate is generated Download it and press Done to complete the whole process.
Step 17 : Navigate to Download folder where you have recently stored certificate. Then double click to install.
Step 18 : Keychain Access app will automatically open and OS will install certificate in Keychain Access app. Here you can see that installed certificates in my mac.
After compete this process, You are creating App ID for You apps. See more steps about Create App ID.
